1996
Foundation of the company in Bad Staffelstein, production of BIOLAND organic deep-frozen bakery products.
1997
Registration of 5 patents and first production of ÖkoFee base baking products for organic bakeries.
1998
Construction of the first own bakery in Bad Staffelstein. Setting up of an organic bakery shop in order to test the success of the products on the final consumers.
1999
Start-up of production and inauguration of the bakery. We produce organic bakery products with our small team.
2000
First international contacts, export business within Europe are starting.
2001
Development of further special recipes for patent application and for protection of utility patents. Extensive enlargement of the assortment.
2002
Acquisition of the new, much bigger building site at Ebensfeld-Unterneuses. Laying of the foundation stone for the new company building.
2003
Development of first new organic bakery products for the stone oven.
2004
Construction of the new premises, moving-in to the now accomplished production facility – at this time one of the most modern organic bakeries in Europe.
2005
Inauguration of the new production premises and administration at Ebensfeld-Unterneuses.
2006
Company Schedel celebrates their 10th anniversary. Installation of International Food Standard (IFS) within the company, successful process of certification.
2007
New introduction of the line of retail packages for final consumers.
2008
Foundation member of the association “Best organic – fair for all”. Start-up of a new production line. With the acquisition of agricultural acreage we can start the ecological cultivation of specific types of grain, BIOLAND certified.
2009
Changeover of our complete power supply to renewable energy. Certification according to the guidelines “Best organic – fair for all”.
2010
Due to increasing demand an enlargement of production and packing department is necessary. Construction of a new stone oven.
Also next year our team will be highly motivated for high standards in any regard and for an advantage in knowledge.
